Satisfaction

They bask within their soft and supple skin which melts together, cleaving soft and thankfully, while thoughts of passion ebb from eased, pleased and joyful minds. No need to tell them why the ivy twines as limbs engage in thankful weaving, telling of desire just passed, telling of requited love in honored recompense paid in grateful sighs for abundance cornucopial. Hearts subside to ease the crimson flow, and fires so recently ablaze have banked to resting embers. Breathing slows and supple bodies settle now, while minds retreat from daylight ponderings. Windows of their souls grow dim with drooping shades and eyes accept and don their lidded robes of restful ebony. These lovers touch in placid sleep—together, yet alone—to dream their separate dreams.
