People think I'm crazy.
They tell me to let her go.
They tell me to move on.
That she doesn't love me.

But they don't see her face when I touch her.
They don't feel her heart skip a beat when I tell her I love her.
They don't see the tears in her eyes when she leaves.
They don't see how she looks at me.

All they see is a dream.
A dream they may never be captured.
A dream that I long for.
A dream that keeps me waiting.

They don't see how she makes me smile.
They don't see the beauty in her eyes, her smile, her laughter.
They don't see how I could never love another.
They just don't see.

Does anyone understand?
Does anyone believe in never giving up on true love?
Does anyone see that through it all, she's the only one that makes me happy?
How can they, when all they see is a dream?

A dream can come true.
A dream is full of hope.
And desire. And need.
She is my dream...

Please remember

what you had written, "If you truly love someone, how can you let that love die without a fight?" I don't know and can not feel the pain you had recently experienced and are most like still in its undiminishing talons.

However, please take heart and remember, "I’ll do my best to keep her happy. But when she’s not, I’ll do my best to comfort her in any way I can. She can take comfort in knowing that I will stand up beside her, not in front of or behind, in good times and in bad. And that we will get through any situation if we stick together."

I will hope and I will wish with you. Please stay safe and take care of yourself.

P.S. The poem is indescribable.
