As we awaken
our love clings
like morning dew
the cool moisture
pooled between us.

Evocative.

Great work. I really love your short work approach.

Awakening.

Awakening in the cool of the morning ~ before the humidity takes over ~ a sweet togetherness.

Is there a season to a poem?

Not much to add in a real serious way. Maybe just a follow up to My Erotic Trail. Had I had to read this very same poem in mid August in the Washington DC area where I live, I just wonder if the moisture image would have worked just as well...

Maybe there are seasons for poems too?

Love poem

I liked your poem, perhaps it is just the humidity of Texas, but my sweetness and I often chuckle about the pool of hot moisture our bodies create, so... I can relate (~_~) nice write!
