I left your prison
broke the chains of judgment
cleared away the bars of disappointment
climbed past your criticism
ran through the field of shame
unable to overcome this wall of conditions
I am still a prisoner
trapped by obligation
walking these gray floors
living in solitary
crying out for freedom

revealing

you sound like a woman who has been trapped by a bad situation. I can empathize with you. Keep up the good work, you are doing more than just entertaining. writing is the best way I have found to stay **nearly** sane

( liked your bio, btw))

free

A marriage aptly described as a prison with all the mental and physical abuse that go hand in hand ~ yet the soul cries out for freedom.
