The chains that bind you

Could be pressed upon you by fate;

Your only real defense

Has been,"wrong time, wrong place."

You've done your time,

Like a real man should.

But now, living day to day

You think you've done the best that you could?

Your silence hides so well

All the thoughts that you keep.

But, deep inside your heart, I know

Its really happiness that you seek.

You long for success

But your're not taking the steps

Chained down by your past

Not asking for any help.

Only you can change your future

And that of your children, too.

By sticking to a plan

And seeing the whole thing through.

You have the strength to do it

And the intelligence as well.

So grab ahold of your future

And tell your past to go to HELL!!
