Waiting, dreaming, wishing
I know she’s out there, the girl of my dreams
Yearning, hoping, praying
I just want to love and be loved in return

Wondering, doubting, but still wishing
Finally...I think this is the one
Flirting, pursuing, stalking
She’s just like I dreamed she would be

Joyous, happy but still doubting
This is too good to be true
Cautious, careful, hesitant
I think she’s just fucking with my head

Testing, unsure but still hoping
Wait and let her say it first
Loving, caring but afraid
Maybe she’s just toying with me

Slow down, back off, put up a wall
It’s too risky to say I love you back
Hold back, push her away, it’s not worth it
I was better off how I was before

Waiting, dreaming, wishing….

The girl of my dreams

Is it possible that you know me this well? I hope you understand my feelings. We'll talk soon, ok?

Yours,

Thirsty
