Looking out my window and the sky is overcast,
grey and seemingly filled with gloom

The cars roll by with moist wheels sloshing through the streets
These are the days when even the angels seem to cry
These are the days when your own bed is especially comfortable

Yawn, grunt, groan

Outta my bed I tumble
Down steps stumble
Into this life I fumble

Glad to be alive
Greeting the day
Saying hello to the world no matter how sick it all is
Under the gloom and doom
All the while the angels weep
I see children splashing from puddle to puddle, glad to be alive

Beautiful
