versatility is invention's cousin,
bars and beaches become
lighthouses and lovers,
bedroom and patio luminaries
replace pillars I built upon

emotional visions replace fragrances
leaving them to aroma therapists,
sidestepping Yankee Candle
I swirl emotion without the glass

on magical days I don't sell,
just smile and nod as
pocketbooks open,
sunny days when art and life unite
extending the later with the former

~~

After a too-long absence, 2 poems in less than a week! I was so relishing your words and then I smacked up against that last line. I think you meant to say latter and not later.

Life...

In the Class of Life ~ versatility is invention's cousin. I loved this delightful rendering.
