She couldn’t assure him in
subliminal advertising
designed to evoke emotive
heart pulse,
that her voltage veins
were undiluted.
Sometimes caution
pauses in silent swells
and quivers in vibes.

He told her once
he’d be like a breath in the windstorm
of her life.
She knew now, what it meant.
His brilliance,
ever chasing brightness,
trying to fly over his light
instead of walking inside it
so she would stir him.
Now,
Somewhere between
tides and tunes,
buoyantly drifting,
their senses bathe today away.
Then the wind returns, and
tears become
tomorrow's torrential downpour,
consuming sunrise
as vanilla vibes
assimilate.

Did I miss something?

I liked it, but I don't think I understand the title. I guess I'm thinking of David Bowie's song...

Thanks for sharing.
