Dinner Date

Took my girl to an expensive restaurant,
A bad impression, I didn’t want to make,
Taking time to dine sipping French Bordeaux wine,
We ate medium-rare filet mignon steak.

Violins serenaded us through dinner,
The Maitre d’ insured the staff didn’t make
A mistake. With our second bottle of wine,
We took our time eating fine pastry and cake.

But after we ate, my mood soon turned frantic.
I forgot my money, credit cards, and check,
And when they presented me the bill to pay,
Give her the check. What did she expect?

We are no longer dating. She tired of waiting,
For me to pay her back. Yet, why should I pay,
When the food was okay,
And after, we didn’t even neck?

funny

It's funny and I liked the meter, but it wasn't erotic.
