What shall it be?
To hover between
the choice of light
or darkness.

I am asking myself
to step out of the
cool comfort of the
still shadow.

The night embraces me
and armours me from
the full light of my
own being.

But I am drawn to the
candle flickering on
the edge of my reality.

How was I to know?
That a simple smile
and gentle hand would
draw me into the light?

The decision is made,
I am drawn
crossing the prime meridian.
