Hush, can you not hear the silence?
It is there, hidden behind the sirens.

The silence is so loud it covers the screams.
It is so unforgiving it kills all our dreams.

Between us is silence that causes us pain,
It infuriates us and then drives us insane.

The worst thing you can threaten someone with,
Is always this silence, not the lost of love or bliss.

Pain and lost you can learn to resign yourself to.
However, silence will slowly destroy even you

If we want to make this world a better place,
Overcoming the silence is what we have to face.

Silence hurts

There is nothing worse than the deafening sound of silence from being ignored or even worse the silence of indifference. Great read, loved it :)
