I was once.......
Someone's mother
Someone's lover
Someone's everything.

Drifting now through
A sea of confusion
Lost in myself
Looking for the light.

Hardened by pain
Beaten down to nothingness
Crying out inside
With no one to hear me.

All I want
Is to be
The woman I once was
When I was me.
