My mind wrestles
With thoughts of you
And times that seem
So very long ago.
Remembrance of times past
Happiness, joy, tenderness, even sadness
Yet times of you
When you were there.
My thoughts during sleep
They return yet again to you
Never letting me forget
Forever keeping you in my mind.
Lovers entwined in hearts and thoughts
Who at one time knew the other
More deeply than the other
Even knew themselves.
Is this my torture?
Or is this dreams of my future?
Why do you invade my mind
My thoughts and yes even my heart?
