Your voice
Still makes my heart race
Your touch
Still sends shivers down my spine.

Why did I harden myself?
Why did I turn away from you?
So full of anger and confusion
I did not know what to do.

Please understand me
The pain I went through
I hurt and I lost also
Pain to us, is nothing new.

They say that
Love covers a multitude of sins
Can it cover our pain?
And erase all that has been?

Is our love strong enough
To overcome and endure?
I'm reaching out to you
I'm knocking at your door.
