I think of you in Springtime
When all the woods are blue
And we were young and foolish
You thought my love was true.
We laughed our way through Summer
By Autumn I was free
To chase another rainbow
And find another me.
I think of you in Winter
When snow was in the trees,
I was back again to haunt you
And once again to tease.
To give you hope that one day
We would soon be wed
I broke your heart and left you
And so you shot me dead.
Now i cannot leave you Sweetheart
Nor give my heart away
For you blew it into pieces
And in the ground I'll stay.
