Okay...long time, no submissions. Heres a quick one that I hope you enjoy! It's my first poem, so feel free to comment honestly!
Your body drips with sweat,
"You're tired and acheing..." I bet.
The girls all call your name,
but to you it's not the same.
After the crowds trickle away,
"It's just you and I!" You say.
Just when I think there would be nothing now,
you have the strength and I don't know how!
You get me going with one finger,
then I'm hitting notes higher than the lead singer!
You're not pounding the drums again,
just you making me explode within.
My drummer boy increaces the heat,
nothing better than one who knows his beat!

p.s typo in last stanza -> increaces should be 'increases'
