He said he was at the pub that night
but the bartender said it wasn't so.
Didn't take much imagining
to know he had a floozy on the side.
I can see her in my minds eye
flat naked on her bed,
with him doing what he shouldn't
don't you see that's why
I shot him dead.
Seems there was a robbery
I heard it on the news
they went in through the wall
of the pub next door
all caught on CCTV.
