I have roses in my garden
but what about the weeds
that grown in profusion too?
bindweed throws her white
trumpets over the shed
and poppies dash undaunted
through the potato patch.
the plant that grows under
the garden swing was set
by the birds and for all
it's pretty serrated leaf
must sadly be uprooted soon!
