Heaven is a place,
pure and serene;
Heaven is a place
I've never seen.

Heaven is a place
where love abounds;
Heaven is a place
I've never found.

Heaven is a place
of no more pain:
Where effort has
no loss or gain.

Heaven's a place
of respite deep:
Where all the weary
take their sleep.

Heaven's a place
where angels dance,
And mingle their wings
in sweet romance.

Flowers strew the gates of heaven
in myriad array,
Turning glory faces to watch
the angel children play.

Heaven is a place
where I am nurtured, loved, and fed.
Heaven is the place
whence comes my daily bread.

Heaven is a place
in the crook of your arm.
Heaven is a place
where there's no more alarm.

Heaven is a place
of kisses warm and voices tender.
Heaven is a place at 3 am,
of sweet surrender.

Heaven is a place
where fountains flow:
Heaven is a place I know.

Heaven is the place I view,
Wrapped up in the warmth of you.
