A dark parody of the classic song Calfornia Dreaming. Written about the fires burning right now in Cally.

All the houses are burning
And the sky is a smoky ash gray
It's all the media's talking about
On this tragic fall day

I'd rather be safe and warm
Anywhere but here
Calfornia flaming
On this fatal fall day

Saw a church brust into red
As I passed along the way
Well, I got down on my knees
And I began to pray

You know God must have some sort of plan
A plan we've yet to understand
We must trust
It won't always be this way
California flaming
On this cruel fall day

All the houses are burning
And the sky is a smoky ash gray
It's all the media's talking about
On this tragic fall day

If I don't leave here now
I'll be the next to lose it all today
So sad
California flaming
On this wicked fall day
