In the quietest of moments,
I have the most momentous of thoughts,
illusions of times past. . . . .
Her voice transcending my dreams,
stirring my still waters,
drawing me across the divide of years. . . .

She lives within me still,
dancing within her dreams of light. . . .
And morning comes,
night breaks,
reality coalesces. . . .
to my heart's lament.
