what Need have we
each other
U and I
of our light
and merry common steps
if all reflections are
but meaning less
than scorned forgotten
motes of dust
discarded
toyed with
swallowed
by the endless
black hole hunger
our own universe
the center
all alone all
ways joined
together to be one
like crystal rain drops
yearning long
the way
unto the silent sea the cup
is emptied by the sparkling tide
and filled with shattered melting
fragments
of our tears
and of our pride

silent sea

"unto the silent sea the cup

is emptied by the sparkling tide

and filled with shattered melting

fragments

of our tears

and of our pride"

Those last few lines got to me. Sadness, perhaps, and foolishness and longing. Loved it. <3 Lillian, KR.
