Now hear! My name ispushkine, and my rhymes
My name describes (it is a portmanteau),
For oft my verse is tipping staid bovines
In broad and empty fields swept with snow.
I know some find my poèms more like crimes,
Technique unsubtle as verse taekwondo.
No Alexander am I—not Pushkin
But ratherkine, or cow, to my chagrin.

So why should Reader read me, dare you ask?
I guess to make sure I adhere to form.
For write I for Survivor, simple task
In which what matters is that I conform
To complicated rules and then bask,
One triumphant ninny, in the storm
Of adulation, riches, sex, and all
That's happiness for Mankind since our Fall.

For now, that seems quite quite enough to say.
Immodesty's alarming, don't you think?
I grow fatigued whenever forced to bray
My cleverness with grin and charming wink.
This silly verse shall soon no longer flay
Your wearied ears. You'll likely want a drink.
Have two, in fact; this poem was pretty long.
(Or, if preferred, a huge hit on a bong.)
