Survivor Poem #8
Form P: Tanka
Trigger 23: Speck of Dust
Perfectly done, as usual. I'm just in awe of your writing lately.
Tess
I don't really know the form that well so can't comment on that (though it looks right to me), but the poem is just beautiful. Pithy, as it needs to be, but says a lot and with a kind of raw honesty that really is gorgeous. It's so good to read you again. I'd forgotten what a unique, wonderful poet's voice you have. Well not forgot exactly, but you know what I mean.
This poem is mentioned in Monday's New Poem Review in the Poetry Feedback & Discussion forum. Thanks for the read!
