The rain descends outside my window.

The sun's concealed by a weightless woolen
That hovers serenely above the city.

The spray floats with an unheard rhythm.

The air is peaceful, my thoughts dormant.

The calm of the rain and avenue's silence
Have cleansed me of my torment.

A sinner am I who's prayed his penance.

And then behind me the bath door opens.

With a billowing cloud of mist she comes
Like Botticelli's Birth of Venus
And rides me with a radiant smile.

Never have I so enjoyed the rain.

Its lingering, though brief, appeased my soul
But not as do its trace of fragrance
And sun, oh the sun, what a grace to behold!

I liked 'em both, or just the one?

I liked both bits, just wasn't sure how they were suppose to relate to each other with that break.
