Click hereJohnny was cool, he always was
The first to smoke and first to joke
Of the size of tits and dental braces,
Not to mention the social graces
Of quoting every TV commercial.
He was a fuss with all the girls
And rest of us at parish hall dances;
We'd stand around stealing glances
While Johnny was out there slow hands dancing.
Brother Herman from the seminary said
Blessing himself, "what a disgrace!"
But Johnny, not Hermie, shaved his face
Pressing himself with a nod of the head yes.
I know that guy. I think I went out with him...good poem. I didn't have the punctuation issues the other comment suggested. Might be just me.
but somewhat hard to read with the weird punctuation - seems to fall in the wrong places and gets caught up in the all caps start to each line.
