Some men swear to God above,
And so proclaim undying love;

Some men sign on dotted lines,
Ensuring love to last through time;

Some me give sweet gifts and jewels,
Promising love that never cools;

This I say, my love, to you,
I'll have your face and name tattooed;

Etched in my skin for all to see,
A love to last eternally;

Promises to God can be mispoken,
And contracts are to often broken;

Gifts and jewels can slip away,
But a tattoo my love, is here to stay;

I tell you that my love is true,
I swear by my tattoo.
