Blueberries are sweet and yielding
with a flavor fruity and of the earth,
the very embodiment of Spring
a fruit of cost but higher worth

In wild woods and neat rows
from Chile to New Jersey to Germany,
this lovely bush it grows:
I say it is to true blue
as red is to the rose

They're healthful for body and brain
beyond any doubt:
blueberries are what Epicurus
might have been talking about

Nice to see a playful side to your poetry as well as the headier stuff
