Pink feathers and the down of a cat
knotted themselves together in her
into the puzzle of her skin.
Sixty gold pieces and the like not
more valuable nor more seemly
than her hourglass visage. Glancing
at me with those wicked kisses
I was flung over backwards by
her glimpse. All the while her scent
like toys, so I prayed for Christmas.
