Eating dollar-n-ninety-nine cent
Costco pizza
studying the check-out lanes,
a few hundred people
every size, shape and color
all creeds and national origins
the full spectrum of sexual orientations,
I see them all naked
each and every one
naked, naked, naked
in line with the their year supply of toilet paper
six-pound tray of ground beef,
all of them
sagging breasts and dangling penises
hairy and hairless skin
black, white and brown flab
naked, naked, naked,
horrific sight
significantly more appalling than arousing,
except the women
the middle check-out
a bouquet of flowers
fresh from South America
a bottle of wine
from France,
perfect body
among the naked truth,
