Down from the mountains
She came like a storm
Wrapped her arms around me
Kept me safe and warm,
Inside my little cabin
Frozen by the lake
Chocolate cream frosting
On my vanilla cake,

Stayed through the weekend
And a day or two more
Left her bedroll waiting
By the kitchen door,
We kept the fire burning
The embers glowing red
Spent most of the weekend
In my double bed,
