You talk to me in riddles
come to me in dreams
tell me of your travels
tell me of your schemes,
Perpetual Motion
lead turned into gold
Interstellar Travel
ventures brave and bold,

Snap your fingers, smiling
we're a thousand miles away
they're fueling up the jet
we're off into the day,
Climbing through the stratosphere
engines screaming loud
blue sky above us
well above the cloud,

Fifty thousand feet
Mach point nine two
set on autopilot
what else could we do?
Afterward, you smile
the smile that makes me crazy
put on your pilot face
fresh as a daisy,

I suspect a bit of the poet in this, there are errors in judgment

I'll start with a sure killer, it is always best not to end on a cliche

fresh as a daisy,

if you do you better have a damn good reason for it, and even then...
