I wait,
with melancholy,
sleep resisting my freedom.

The dreams,
refuse to bless me,
with pleasing voices in the night.

Awake,
the furor strikes,
despair my fierce opponent.

Not found,
the peace of whimsy,
in the sully hands of slumber.

I wait,
awake,
the dreams,
never found.

Wonderfully...

...dismaying. The methodical structure make me think of tossing and turning. Well done.
