Do it this way
not that,
they said.
We know what’s best.
We are the experts.
The voices shouts at us daily.

The doctors.
The teachers.
The bankers.

If you do,
then why is everything
so messed up?
Is the world
a better place
than it used to be?

The economy.
Our schools.
Health care.

Whatever happened
to common sense
or right and wrong?
When did people
stop trusting
their gut instinct?

Move west, young man.
The American spirit.
Yes, we can.

But only if we
trust our gut.
Do what we know
is right.
Live true to our ideals
and our gut.

I will.
Will you?

Oooh Tara.

Please, cut off your cable TV service. Put the money into a faster broadband connection to the internet.

I did that in the 90s, and I've never regretted it.

I missed Seinfeld, but I hear it was nothing.
