I had a dream of peace
Am I the only one
So many dreams go unfulfilled
Shattered by sounding guns
Dreams of life and loved ones
To watch our seedlings grow
Dreams of home and happiness
Of those we've yet to know
Dreams of childrens laughing eyes
Time to watch dreams unfold
Dreams to breathe the breath of life
Into a world grown cold
