Each day I'm getting stronger
Fighting for every breath
Each day they pull me lower
Fighting to the death

Each day I try harder
Straining against my bonds
Each day I feel my power
Showing less response

They think I'm getting weaker
They think I can't fight back
But still they pull my chains tighter
Pulling in all the slack

Until one day I stand firm
They yank and I do not give
They stare at me in surprise
As I triumphantly show my will to live

These chains I pull against
I fight with my every breath
They are the chains of my own making
And I will fight them to my death

Until one day I see my friends
And they don't recognize me at all
For I've broken these chains of my making
And now I'm standing tall

Songs

Hmm, very nice. Would make a very good song in the right hands. Nice work!
