Song 11 What Is Your Deal?

Chorus
You totally mystify me.
I don't understand how I should be.
Darling, you just don't understand.
How can I stand and be a man,
When dazed and confused is how I feel,
As I sit here wondering,
"What is your deal?"

Verse 1
I remember how we first met,
How I walked up and asked you to dance.
The conversation flowed, it never slowed,
And everyone thought we had hit it off.
The next night you remembered all I had said,
And embarrassingly I turned red,
Because...
(Chorus)

Verse 2
I think of how beautiful you are,
Just like a sparking, twinkling star.
Your long, straight brown hair,
Your lingering stare,
As you sit there,
Telling me what I want to hear,
But I know now you really don't care,
And I think...
(Chorus)

Verse 3
I've asked you out on some dates,
You said, "Yes."
But now it's to late.
I should have guessed,
That you'd never show up.
It frustrates me so much,
I could just blow up,
But then I think...
(Chorus)

Verse 4
So, here I sit all alone.
Can't even give my dog a bone,
Because he isn't around anymore,
Don't have a girlfriend to call my own,
Can't even call anyone on the telephone,
Don't have the money to pay my bills,
And I can't even seem to find any thrills,
Because...
(Chorus)
(Repeat Chorus)
(End With)
As I sit here wondering,
"What is your deal?"
"What is your deal?"

To be continued.

Next Song 12 My Silly Song, we have to throw some humor in all this, so check it out, coming soon.
