I like old trains
old airplanes
tall, thin blondes
girls with brains,
Cold white wine
micro beer
like what I see
in the mirror,

I like word play
poetic rhyme
like to rise
up and shine,
Like the road
much less traveled
convertibles
slightly raveled,

I like the sight of
land, brand new
like dreaming
dreams of you,
Were we might
go, someday
what we might
do and say,

On some train
or old airplane
convertible
down memory lane,
Like to think
this might transpire
ratchet up
one notch higher,
