Stuck on the beach. The lazy surf that drones
half-way the morning sings its song anew
of age and failure, taking as its cue
slow circulation round too brittle bones -
sleep slips across the reef. The hazy blue
lies trembling, beckoning… I am long due.

not sure of the style

seems like a reverse limerick maybe? Slightly long though, either way i dig it. Its deep and dark with obvious meaning, not to mention it rhymes. I like your style, keep posting.
