In Costco today having a pizza lunch
(a dietary disaster, I know I know)
ingesting the dubious pizza-like object
I checked out employees and customers
deciding their sexual recentivity
who got lucky last night
and who did not.
Most, I decided did not, but a few did, I decided
(TSA picking terrorists out of a crowd should have it so easy)
the brunette buying a month’s supply of Huggies?
the blonde with a bottle of wine, cheese and bread?
the brunette pushed her cart out the door toward the parking lot
the blonde bought a hot dog and set down near me
she ate the hot dog slowly and deliberately one inch at a time:
I smiled
She smiled
We smiled.
The wine was delightful, as was the blonde,

yes the costo has some

lookers, second half of poem is stronger that the intro, a little work would even it up

and make it as stunning as the hot dog gal
