My Best Girl and the Tiger

I bought my best girl a leopard skin coat
Well, not the real cat but the faux
It was fuzzy and snazzy, she looked wakadoo
The morning we went to visit the zoo
She walked right up to the tiger's cage
That old cat simply went into a rage
Jumped the fence and dragged her in
Bit off her head before you could spin
Around to see what happened
My best gal was totally flattened
I was left alone with the memory
Still, it remains a mystery
I'm trying hard to understand why
my best girl caught the big cat's eye?
Maybe the tiger hated leopards?
Or maybe he felt threatened by a foe?
I think perhaps he was offended
by the fact the coat was faux!
