Drinking a bottle of red red wine
thinking of once upon a time
the world wasn't choked with toxic gas
for less than a dollar you could buy some gas,
when was that, and what did we do
and did I do it, do it with you?

Perhaps we did, perhaps we did not
wonder if we got what we sought?
oh my gosh, what a folly
you say her name was Someday Sally
sweet girl, I must confess
I'd sleep with her too, in her strapless dress,

So pour me some wine
give me a hug
make love to me
on your bear skin rug,
tell me a story, tell me a lie
some red red wine, and off we can fly,
