I cried out in the darkness
And you answered my prayer
You cradled me in your arms
And whispered in my ear

The waves of horror went away
And I breathed out a sigh
As you kissed my cheek
And fondled my thigh

“Don’t cry”
And then you drank of my lips
This lover of mine
Whose absence I miss

So what if I felt more
Than a lustful affair
I took what I could get
So you’d stroke my hair

So you’d sleep beside me
And hold me very close
Our bodies twisted
Warm without clothes

But now you are gone
As they always seem to leave
The lovers I have found
And lost and bereaved

Jason,
Do you remember me?
The girl who you loved
Enough to leave

The girl you left
Crying and alone
Because your addiction
Was not easily thrown

So you let me go
I know that now
You who soothed my sadness
I wish to see somehow

My beautiful Jason
Who rocked me in the night
Who soothed my fiery veins
And took away my fright

Where could you be?
