Walking in the coastal mist, along the emerald green, a sea of solitude whirls at my feet.

Each wave acting like an eraser, takes my fears, dreams as easily as my foot prints out to sea, and bequeath calm in my mind. As the calmness swells, thoughts for the deep rise to the top.

Surprising images appear to me, long repressed. Realizing that my time here is tantamount to that of my tracks on the shore in the scheme of life. I laugh at myself for the things I think so significant.

Millions of years have made the sounds of nature calm the soul, like no manmade sound ever could.

The sea worries not of my thoughts.
