Just say that you'll go South with me
Have faith in spontaneity.
We'll hop in my Mercedes
On our way to the Pleiedes,
Shift it down to lower gear
For the wilder hemisphere.

The South's a place of jungles
There are rivers full of teeth
There are canopies with sloth
And fantastic shapes of moth.

There's a backbone made of peaks
Poking snow through wreaths of cloud
And from here I'll shout aloud
My dear, I love you.

I need to feel the stratosphere
To see its globe behind me,
As I fly away to silent space
Among the singing stars.

I need to move, to shift perspective
So that I can be perceptive
So that I can stay awake
For there is just so much at stake.

I am free within your love,
Free to dream,
Free to love you,
Free to soar.

So come with me
My careful darling
Put aside your worries
And we'll never have to hurry
For the Man, and his
Blurry, dirty, plan.
