In the developing narrative of one's life
why does every new data point
feel as though
it holds more weight
than all previous instances

we experience
and then we process
we are both the experience of self
and the processed experience of self
we are two beings
one in the moment
and one that binds all moments together

the importance of the moment
is because it is THE MOMENT
the only moment that one will ever truly experience
of course it feels more powerful than all previous moments
there are no previous moments
only a story we tell ourselves

but once
the moment has been processed
data laid out bare
that one moment that was once so overwhelming and defining
is now just a point
somewhere between the x and y axis

Wow.

I wish I had your ability to express concepts like this. Beautifully, thoughtfully done. the thing is that too many people don't see life as NOW, but are waiting for life to happen - maybe tomorrow.
