Spring is in the air
Sunshine floods the day
A gentle breeze stirs the trees
Out in my garden I play

I lay on my back in the lush grass
Looking up at the sky
The clouds float slowly away
Gazing on as the butterflies fly

I dig my toes into the ground
I love the grass between my toes
At one with nature
I forget all my woes

I stretch out and yawn
The gentle heat leads me to sleep
I doze off with a smile on my lips
I drift off into the deep

My dreams are full of color
Music blankets my soul
I lazily open my eyes
In this moment I'm whole

Flowers are budding
I can't wait to taste their nectar
I'll tend to my garden
Be its protector

I look over and see hidden in the grass
A dandelion
I pull it from the ground
And blow it into the horizon

As each seed rides the breeze
I make but one request
That my lover comes back to me
In him my heart is professed

Ride dandelion ride
Fly away in the wind
Let my true love
Know of the wish I send

And bring him back to me
Body. Soul. Mind. Heart.
By this time next spring
May we never be apart

I see the sun setting
Color ignites the horizon
The day comes to a close
My wish rides with that dandelion
