Several years past death
Wondering where my Lord was
I ain’t got no place to go
Not a family, not a home
Rain falling on my head
To remind me I’m not dead yet
I have a future to hold on to
You see I may be crazy
But I ain’t no fool
I’m still alive
I will survive
Just so you know

Wipe the tears from my eyes
Time to grow up and realize
Everyone has a destiny
There is a place in the world for me
Pick my head up off the ground
