Life has become deplorable again,
Everything to lose and everything to gain,
The confusion it brings is scary in this lane,
Waiting for my traitor to come is such a pain,
Our glorious past all but seems to be in vain,
Shrouded in black, she became my bane,
How long must I wait for her in this chain,
I am truly lost in thy mess, oh dear Jane.

Interesting choice of the same end rhyme throughout. I hope Jane gets your message.
